PRESENTATION    ORGANIZATION

PSE-Jourdan is a research centre funded by four institutions: the CNRS, the EHESS, the École des Ponts ParisTech, and the ENS. PSE-Jourdan is almost entirely based on the Jourdan Campus.

The Director of PSE-Jourdan is Bernard Caillaud, and the two deputy Directors are Pierre-Yves Geoffard and Thierry Verdier. Marie-Christine Paoletti is the Chief Administrative Officer. The PSE Executive Committee consists of elected members, named members and the Chairs of PSE; this committee meets at least every two months and advises on all aspects of PSE activity. The general assembly of PSE is held once per year.

Research is organized into 6 research groups. A research group covers a specific domain, with a group leader who oversees scientific research (including potential future hirings), is responsible for the interface between research and the courses in the Masters programme, and is responsible for the community of doctoral students in his/her domain. These research groups are not fixed over time, and overlap to a certain extent.

Technical staff and Administrative staff provide essential support to the research activities of PSE.
